#MNMusic on Spotify

When it comes to the great Pandora vs. Spotify debate, I’ve been on Team Spotify for years. And why? Because not only can you create stations based upon songs and artists like you can on Pandora, but you can also listen to entire albums. Oh yeah, and there is a bunch of local #MNMusic on Spotify that you just don’t get from Pandora.

I created my first all local music playlist in 2012, but the number of local artists that have been popping up since is incredible! I recently asked Twitter who their favorite local Spotify bands are, and got a HUGE list back. So I’ve started compiling them for you (and myself) to create a giant MN Music Spotify playlist (coming soon!). In the meantime, I’m adding my list here with links to the artists’ Spotify and social media profiles. It’s a work in progress, so check back for new additions every once in a while!

Sunday Morning Musings

“A Sunday well spent brings a week of content” is the epitome of a Pinterest Sunday quote, but gosh if it isn’t true.

I woke up this morning, fed my cat, made some Duluth Coffee, sat down at my computer to listen to The Current Live-stream and updated the day's events. Once that was done I planned out the upcoming events for this week for a blog post about what not to miss and updated social media for some of the other companies I work for. There is just something about getting everything that needs to be posted on Monday done on Sunday that just warms my little social media-ers heart.
